Why I'm Running
I never planned to run for office. Like most Floridians, I was busy living my life, building a business, raising a family, and hoping the people in Washington would figure things out.
But after years of watching both parties put their interests above ours, I realized that hoping isn't enough. If we want leaders who actually believe in limited government, individual freedom, and real accountability, then people who believe those things need to step up.
So here I am.
My Background
I was born in Flagstaff, Arizona and moved to Miami in 2003. Florida became my home, and I've built my life here ever since.
From 2008 to 2018, I ran a small business here in South Florida. I hired employees, met payroll, navigated regulations, and experienced firsthand how government policies affect real people. Since 2018, I've worked in software, solving problems and building things that work.
I've seen how our community has changed. Some changes have been wonderful. Others have been challenging. Through it all, I've watched as Washington politicians from both parties made promises they couldn't keep and spent money we don't have.
What I Believe
My political philosophy is pretty simple:
- Freedom is for everyone. Your life choices are your business, not Washington's. Whether we're talking about how you raise your family, how you run your business, or how you exercise your rights, the government should protect your freedom, not restrict it.
- Government has limits. The Constitution isn't just a historical document. It's the operating manual for our government, and it sets clear boundaries on what the federal government can and should do. We need leaders who respect those limits, even when it's inconvenient.
- Power gets checked. No one, whether they work in government, law enforcement, or any position of authority, should be above accountability. When power goes unchecked, ordinary people pay the price.
Why the Senate Matters
Florida deserves senators who show up, pay attention, and vote based on principle rather than party pressure. The Senate confirms judges, ratifies treaties, and serves as a check on executive power. These aren't small responsibilities.
I'm not running to become a Washington celebrity or to build a political career. I'm running because I believe Florida needs a senator who will actually do the job: read the bills, ask hard questions, and vote no when the answer should be no.
My Commitment to You
If you send me to Washington, I promise to:
- Read every bill before I vote on it
- Hold regular town halls across Florida, not just during election years
- Refuse to vote for any bill that violates the Constitution
- Support term limits and vote as if they already apply to me
- Put Florida's interests above party politics
